- 11,700 tonnes of grains damaged in FCI godowns, admits Pawar 31/07/2010

Over 11,700 tonnes of food grains worth Rs 6.86 crore were found damaged in the Food Corporation of India (FCI) godowns, food and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar informed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The FCI had taken penal action against the officials responsible, he added.
